Chris #2 suffers a loss...

For those of you who have not heard...#2 from Anti-Flag has suffered an unfortunate loss. His sister and her boyfriend were murdered during an attempted robbery in their home. Chris #2 had this to say about the tragedy..."Of all the people I know my sister was the most proud of our band. If you live in the Pittsburgh area you may have met her, it was not uncommon for her to strike up a conversation with anyone wearing an Anti-Flag pin, patch, or t-shirt. She was anxious to meet anyone who was a member of the community. My sister had two beautiful children, who I'm sure will be just as curious and just as loving". Anti-Flag is greatful for the outpouring of support from their fans and invites everyone to make a donation to support Chris #2's niece and nephew as well as donating in their name to help others going through a similar situation. If you would like to find out how to make a donation please visit www.anti-flag.com

Rock wins Grammys

Sunday night was the 49th Grammy Awards... Now, I'm not big on the whole grammy scene (I pretty much think it is a music show catered to the older people) but I know how extremely important these awards are to artists, which is why I am proud and salute some of rock artists who went home with those shinny bad boys.

However, I am still disappointed that Tool did not win Best Metal Performance, but I will keep that to myself.

Here are some of the highlight winners...

Tool- Best Recording Package
Red Hot Chili Peppers- Best Rock Performance, Rock Song, Rock Album
Flamming Lips- Best Rock Instrumental Album
John Mayer- Best Male & Best Pop Album
Bob Dylan- Best Solo Rock Performance
Third Day- Best Contemporary
Wolfmother- Best Hard Rock Performance (tho i still think Tool should have won)
Slayer- Best Metal Performance
Bruce Springsteen- Best Traditional Folk & Long Form Music Video

Crazy, eh? For a list of the winners, jump on www.grammy.com and you can find the list somewhere there...
